Last night we had the total pleasure of being asked to provide garment care for none other than the 18th anniversary of the MOBOs!
The MOBO award nominations 2013 was held at swanky London hotel, The Grand Connaught Rooms. The night was to announce the nominations for next month’s MOBO awards held in Glasgow.
The first bit of celebrity we saw was none other than Jessie J! Please excuse the poor quality phone camera shot. Inside gossip? 1) She is taller and thinner than I imagined 2) She definitely didn’t fancy me.
We got to the venue in the afternoon and set up a steamer in a number of rooms including the dressing rooms of Jessie J and the So Solid Crew. At around 4 o’clock it all started kicking off, steaming time.
We steamed and steamed till the stars shun bright. A definite career highlight for us was steaming the So Solid Crew’s outfits! They were very appreciative! A lot of ‘respect’ was paid to us, cheers guys!
Even though it looks a lot like Romeo is swearing at us twice in this photo, we are assured this is a sign of gratitude, thanks Romeo!
