What’s New In This Update?
Fridja released the f1500 High Pressure Clothes Steamer earlier this year and sold out fast. The f1500 sports a combination of 2200w power, 5 bars of pressure, large water tank, heated plate, flexible ironing board and awesome accessories. The f1500 high pressure clothes steamer is our flagship clothes steamer, due to these best in class premium features. f1500 high pressure clothes steamers come in matte black and gloss white.
We are relaunching this model in December 2019 and have made some key improvements. Let us tell you about how we’ve been updating the f1500 high pressure clothes steamer!
Self Cleaning Mode
The f1500 now has a dedicated descaling mode. This can help remove impurities from water easily. There is now a button on the back of the handle which can turn the high pressure clothes steamer into descaling mode.
Once descaling mode is entered, simply point the steamer hose into a sink or area you can easily flush. Turn the steamer on and when the pressure has built up, press the steam trigger. Any impurities will be ejected from the machine, leaving a clean and efficient heater.
Turn the steamer back into steaming mode by pressing the button on the back of the handle. This will leave descaling mode. Your steamer is now ready to use!
75% Noise Reduction
There is a compressor inside the high pressure clothes steamer. This compressor builds pressure to create the high pressure steam, or steam burst. In order to create such pressure, the compressor vibrates from time to time (about once every 5-10 minutes). Although this isn’t a huge deal, we sought to improve it.
Our new f1500 high pressure clothes steamer uses rubber dampeners to hold the compressor. These rubber dampeners have dramatically reduced the sound of the vibrating compressor. The new dampened sound is now very quiet. This is obviously a huge benefit at home. In addition, the noise reduction is better for clothes steamers being used in a commercial setting. Your steamer will not be heard in a studio or shop!
Internal and Under the Hood Improvements
To increase productivity and durability we’ve improved around 15 parts inside the steamer. We’ve updated the materials in the hose, the hose connector, the compressors and other essential parts.
Although none of this will be noticable by the user, we are constantly looking to improve our clothes steamers. We are very excited for you to try the new f1500 high pressure clothes steamer!

Thanks for your message. There is no clasp attachment as there is a flexible ironing board that makes doing trousers very simple.
Just hang them up and press against the crease.

Thanks for the question, the f1500 has an output of 60 grams per second. The power is 2200W and the steam pressure is up to 5 bars.

Hello, I have the f1500 steamer. Could you please explain in simpleton’s terms how to descale the steamer so it includes tank and the steamer head. Diagrams welcome. I received a sachet of cleaner, do I put it in the tank with cold water ? Very poor instructions in the manual – no mention of cleaner or cleaning tank/water reservoir.
